Pune: In a successful operation, the Pune Police’s Unit 6 team arrested two notorious goons, Dharmensingh alias Bhagatsingh Surjitsingh Bhada (22) and Badshahsingh Poladsingh Bhond (23), who were watching a movie at Vaibhav Talkies in Hadapsar.

The arrested individuals, residents of Shiv Colony, Adarsh Nagar, Dighi, have a history of criminal activities, including cases registered under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA), Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and Arms Act at the Dighi police station.

According to the police, the operation was conducted on Friday (February 21) by a team led by Assistant Inspector Madan Kambale, which included other officers and personnel. The police received a tip-off about the presence of the two goons at the movie theater, following which they were apprehended and handed over to the Dighi police station for further investigation.

The operation was carried out under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police Nikhil Pingale and Assistant Commissioner Rajendra Muli. The team included officers Chhagan Kapase, Kanifnath Karkhile, Nitin Mundhe, Ramesh Memane, Balasaheb Sakate, Rishikesh Vyavahare, Rishikesh Takvane, Nitin Dhadge, Kirti Mandale, and Pratika Pansare.
